It is a one day event; date: 7th Nov or 14th Nov 2009.

It will be a joint event conducted by BSPIN and NASSCOM. Nasscom has already agreed to the tentative date and is ready to conduct the event.

Theme for the event: to be decided

  1. Challenges in achieving Business excellence by 2010; 2. 3.

Chief Guest - to be decided

Keynote: IT vision for India by Nasscom president or Nandan Nilekani (1 hour)

TOPICS: Latest in technology - Panel discussion with 4 CTOs? (ownership - 1 EC and 1 AG) Systems and processes challenges - Panel discussion with $ CQOs? (ownership - 1 EC and 1 AG) People and competency development - 4 HR heads (ownership - 1 EC and 1 AG) Ecosystem requirements / challenges - 4 heads of Infra (ownership - 1 EC and 1 AG)

closing note: India Vs Rest of World competition landscape - speaker to be decided

Methodology:

This event can be conducted as a separate conference with a panel discussion mode.

The ownership of the topic can be taken over by different SPINs? across India.

eg. Latest in technology can be owned by SPIN Chennai and they will co-ordinate to get their CTOs?. BSPIN EC and AG will program manage this topic.

We could have the theme around the Indian IT Scenario in 2020 (in line with NASSCOM IT Vision 2020) with special focus to our core area (Process Excellence, Business Excellence etc.)

many challenges with strategy deployment, particularly in large organizations may be traced to lack of alignment of goals. a discussion on how process, technology and people can make this more effective in these times could be very useful.
