Testing - Diaster Recovery

Please provide your inputs on definition, experiences, tools, best practices, lessons learnt, defect tracking system on the above topic.

The test planning for the above has to be done in line with the Business Continuity Plan prepared for the application. The major requirements will be derived based on the System Requirements Specificaiton. Wherever, actual testing is not practicable, simulations can be attempted.

Periodical backup of the artifacts needs tobe taken and stored in a remote place. Testing of these backups needs tobe done. frequency can be once in 3 months or 6 months
