The Bangalore SPIN provides a forum where software professionals come together to share ideas on software process improvement that would benefit the participating organizations.

Bangalore SPIN is a commercially neutral, non-profit organization, although meetings are sponsored.

Objectives

• Share lessons learned between participants and other SPIN organizations.

•  Disseminate information on current practices and emerging areas in software process improvement.
•  Promote software process maturity. 
• Facilitate improvement in the quality of software engineering activities
•  Promote cooperation between industry, academia and government with respect to software process improvement technology. 
• Provide a forum for people interested in the above topics, to meet and get to know each other.

While the most visible activity of BSPIN have been the monthly Talks, many Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have formed over the years and demonstrated the power of growing through sharing.

Most of the contents on this site are available freely. "Sign Up" on Home page to register as a member and participate in BSPIN activities like SPIN Talks, conferences, panel discussions and Special Interest Groups. Registration and membership are free.
