Kalpana has over 20 years of experience in Finance and IT transformation in GBS and extended global enterprises across Banking, IT and FMCG sectors by using technology to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
She heads Intelligent Automation for KPMG in India. She has been working with large global enterprise clients who have GBS structures to leverage the latest developments in automation and cognitive to their benefit.
She is a book lover and a TED enthusiast. She is actively involved in conducting workshops and speaking at many events across India. She was part of the panel on a CIO Debate: “Will humans and machines have an equal role in workplace of tomorrow?” at the Dell EMC Forum. Has been a key note speaker on the topic “AI and Automation Disruption in Financial Space” for the INDIA FINTECH DAY – Nasscom. Has shared views as a guest speaker on ‘Skills of the Future’ during the global meet of a leading Technology company. Was key speaker at KPMG Accounting Reporting and Compliance Conference (KARCC )- Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai. Was a member of the panel on ‘Machine Learning, AI and its impact on companies’ at the Investment Management Operation Summit. One of the key speakers at the ET Café on Design Thinking and Innovation held at MISB Bocconi. Presented the India perspective at Regional Robotics Conference, Bucharest, Romania.
